Has anyone built Hydronic floor heating into thier Log home. I am considering Warmboard as the subfloor. I would appreciate hearing the pros and cons of one product over the other.

I am not sure why I got a delayed response to this post, it is appreciated none the same.

At this point the warm board is in and the tubing installed. I mounted a 4x8 sheet of 3/4 ply in basement for the manifolds, pump, and aquastat. It looks like spagetti junction right now. I now have to tie it all together . I will add more photos.

Mark...I got it as a new topic...but I can see it is a older thread.
I am sure you will enjoy that floor.
It seems to me that it would be prudent to go ahead and put the tubing in the slab down in the basement where cement is going to be poured anyway, rather than putting warmboard on top of the slab.  then on the main/second floor install Warmboard and allow it to double as the subfloor rather than the traditional way of pouring Gypcrete with the tubing in the Gypcrete.
