I'm the associate editor of Log Home Living, and I'm also known as the magazine’s Decor Diva. This does not mean, my dad once suggested, that I pitch a fit if I can’t find the perfect pillow shams, but rather that I happily undertake the task of sifting through catalogs and combing through stores to find the best products to decorate your log home.
Are you lucky enough to be living in a log home?
I wish they gave us all a log home the day we started working here! Sadly, they do not.

Living on Island Time

To anyone else, the weather would have been perfect—clear and sunny, with a crisp breeze that made the day particularly invigorating. Stripes Aplenty

It wasn't until a couple of years ago that I realized the extent of my love affair with stripes. I was looking around my apartment one day and suddenly noticed that every single room had something striped in it—a potholder in the kitchen, an area rug in the living room, a lampshade in the bedroom.
