We are currently living in FL but plan to move to TN in the summer 2009. My husband is a Residential/Commercial Contractor and we are looking forward to starting our new lives there.
Are you lucky enough to be living in a log home?

Thanks for the congrats. This is a small world, it seams everyone is/was from Florida and is/is going to Tenn. I was in Florida and am in Tenn. lol

Thanks for the invite Esther. I'm here in Florida hoping to sell my home. It seems that I will have to sell lower in order to move out of Florida and that may put a damper on a log home.
Never know it could all are such great people....ya think it's the logs?

Hi Esther,
Yes I can give you some tips about the state for sure. There are many people migrating up here from FL... Tons of them. If your in the log home website, it probably means you would prefer to live in the mountains more than flatter areas in the state. We live in Polk county which is the most southern and eastern county. It borders North Carolina on the east and Georgia on the south. Polk county has 3 rivers in it. In 1996 they had the whitewater olympics here at the Ocoee River. We live spitt'n distance from the Conasauga river. Let me know what your looking for and I can help you more hopefully...... Martin
