Hello Folks, Love the blog on square foot pricing. As a Dealer/Builder that question is usually the first one asked. I don't easily volunteer that information except to say that all log homes are custom and can vary according to the bells and whistles. We like to help them find a design so that we can give them a turnkey estimate. Our package supplies all the components needed to build up to cabinets and mechanicals. The package price reflects close to one third of total costs to build a…

Hello Everyone, I see folks saying they are talking to general contractors to get prices to build their log home. If they are not talking to a log home general contractor they are opening themselves up to all kinds of problems. Dealer/builders are the most qualified to do your project. Have any pictures of the mixed wood tongue and groove walls? We haven't decided on those yet! Thanks for info on the doors. Counter tops we are planning on stained concrete, think that will go well with the "cabin" feel.
Thank you. Actually, I am looking for something closer to Haiku Homes.
Hello James, Thank you for the info. Any info from anyone experienced is greatly appreciated. I want to learn as much as possible and be well informed about every detail in this business. I've actually have been to Katahdin Cedar Log Homes website quite a few times, but I will definitely check out arbor wall site and let you know what I think. Thanks again! -Michele
Thank you James. I am searching for people that have projects that are already planned and budgeted in 2014. Please refer anyone to me that want to be featured on TV!
Thanks Jim - I'm hearing all positive things about cedar, I think we're pretty much locked in on that part. Beautiful wood and with great benefits. I appreciate your support on that!
