I am currently employed by Perma Chink Systems. Customer Service & Technical Support. Have been working with wood and wood products for decades. Refinished a LOT of furniture. We owned a lot of rental property at one time, and did 99.9% of all repairs ourselves. A log home was always our dream, and came to work here to learn more. STILL want that dream...maybe one day?
I'm fine Merry Anne. I'm just in the process of stripping and refinishing the house. Kind of busy. My next "Cheap and Easy" tips will be "DIY stone foyer" and "How to put a stone veneer on a cinder block foundation"
Merry Anne, in the past 15 years in thousands of wood lodges have been built in England, most are located in holiday parks and, apart from me, no-one knows how to look after them. I started preserving cedar and redwood homes around San Francisco in 1989, I really am the best. I use pressure washers, oxalic acid, bi-carb, airless & HVLP sprayers, and blasting equipment. I am taking a course in soda blasting in a couple of days, I cant wait.
I sent twenty emails, made four phone calls, and already I've got 400 wood lodges to strip and re-stain.
D'ya fancy working in England this winter, ha ha. James
