How has winter been treating you this season? We've been pummeled in northern Michigan. In the area where our log home is located, we are well over 150 + inches of total snowfall. Today was -26 degrees! Ouch! Our Bernese Mountain Dog named Scout is loving it. I have to practically pick her up to carry her into the house because she doesn't want to come inside. Me? I'm ready for Spring. Bring it!…

Good Day,
How is everything with you, I picked interest on you after going through your short profile and deemed it necessary to write you immediately.I have something very vital to disclose to you, but I found it difficult to express myself here, since it's a public site.Could you please get back to me on this email( ubabawauh@gmail.com ) for the full details,
Have a nice day
Thanks God bless.
Mrs Abiola.
I'll do that Shelly. She's got the body of a Basset and the color of the retriever. My wife and I adopted her from the Humane Society in Oct/2007. The following summer somebody "dumped" a Basset Hound about 2 miles north of where we live. I took him in and the two have been buddies since! Their names are Sherman and Libby. Short for General Sherman and Liberty. Their my hiking and fishing buddies. Nothing but farmland and woods to roam in.
I'll get pictures of both when the weather breaks and share with all.
Mike
Shelley, haven't been on loghomeu for quite sometime. Been busy with both homes, but I love how your dog has grown. Would like to have a dog like Scout. We have a little yorkie, so I don't know how she would appreciate that. She rules the both homes. HaHa. Is this type of dog easy to care for? Thanks. CJ from Va.
Shelley I enjoyed looking at the pictures of your log cabin, i hope to some day to have one. I noticed you have the hole logs, I was wondering if you have much trouble with dust on the logs of the inside. I really like the whole log look. The cabin is very nice and pretty. Hope you have a wonderful Thanksgiving!! Alice

Yikes....a bit early.....Yes.....I agree Shelley....Christmas in a cabin is quite lovely....That was my last years tree.....I do a lodgy tree every year and my Grandchildren just love it...they try to find all the animals....Looking forward to decorating again soon......Your cabin is delightful! You must hate to leave it! Are you planning on one day, living there full time?
Well Shelley, I best be off and get ready for the storm....I have some Mums and pumkins outside that need to come in....I want to hold them for as long as I can...still have Thanksgiving to enjoy!! You folks have a grand day and enjoy life at the cabin!!!

We only have one Pyr, but we have been a foster home to one other one. Our Lilly Belle is now about 105 lbs. She's about normal for her size and sex.
How big is that 'puppy' of yours now?
Tom
