Tell us about yourself:
We are living in our log home weekends only until summer of 2009. It is mostly complete, but quite liveable. Since we talked about building one for 38 years before doing so we don't feel to bad about taking the next few years to put on the finishing touches.
Are you lucky enough to be living in a log home?
yes
What timeframe are you looking to start your dream home?
N/A

Energy Audit

Has anyone else paid to have an energy audit performed on their "DREAM" house? If so what were the findings?

I like that, "Analysis paralysis". Made me laugh. No, its more like monetary paralysis. We are paying off our land and college before we jump into another mortage. I hope all went well with your home. It looks great. Have you ever met that lady that lives by you in another log home? She seemed like a character and interesting.

Greetings from Topeka. I didn't see anyone from Ks sign up until now. We actually went to look at your home when it was just a shell but you were not home then. We were invited by the Morrisons. We went to the wrong log home first that is just down the road from yours being built by an elderly lady that was fun to talk to. The photo looks great! Welcome to the log home neighborhood. I'm sorry I didn't see you join up.
