Good Day,
How is everything with you, I picked interest on you after going through your short profile and deemed it necessary to write you immediately.I have something very vital to disclose to you, but I found it difficult to express myself here, since it's a public site.Could you please get back to me on this email( ubabawauh@gmail.com ) for the full details,
Have a nice day
Thanks God bless.
Mrs Abiola.
Hi Ted, Good Log Home Companies have Dealer/Builders who are trained to sell and build their product. After sale support is provided by the dealer in the form of technical support and the builder is accountable to the supplier, dealer, and client. We are joined at the hip throughout the entire process. We support clients who want to build their own home and provide the support they need.Look for companies that do this. Have fun with it! My husband and I have a log home about 15 min. from Waynesville as well, out 276 near Bethel. This was the first home we didn't build ourselves. We used American Heritage in Maggie Valley and the process went so smoothly and house was done in a year. Only problem, they folded right after finishing ours! Luckily the only sub not completely paid was the furnace guy, or we'd have had liens slapped on us! Even he was very nice about things and we paid him the last $1500 again! A. Heritage had been in business for 30 yrs.! If you end up using a builder, make sure you get release of liens from each sub before you pay your draws to the builder! We want to retire this year but are trying to sell the FL house...We love everything about it up there. The street dances in downtown Waynesville during the summer are a hoot:) A log cabin just heals your soul!
We appreciate your feedback and your interest in LogHomeU.com. Your suggestions help us make the site a better place for all who come and visit. Let me respond to your points:
1) The Forums area is the place to find most of the discussions about topics. They were set up for browsers to find info on things they don't know and to bypass anything that you already have seen or do know. We think that if we pull specific topics together somewhere else that might be more confusing to browsers to have two places that handle content in a similar way.
2) In regards to older images being featured, most social networks are based on new materials coming in. While the older work is still around, and can be found by searching or going to that person's page, there currently isn't anyway to "renew" the photos without having them uploaded again.
3) We usually try and highlight newer members so folks welcome them and they can get connected but we have no problem going back through the older membership and featuring folks again.
It has been a long time.. I hope you and family are still doing well and I hope the log home plans are alive and kicking!
Anne
