First time log home owner overwhelmed, many questions, please help!

Hello everyone, 35 year old male first time home owner here. Transplant from Long Island to Central Ny. I bought my first home, a log home built in 2002 in central new york to follow my family up here. It is a lot cheaper than long island and i am able to ride atv, hunt, homestead etc right in my yard.
