Wildlife Learning Center in NC

The grand opening of the new Valerie H. Schindler Wildlife Learning Center at the North Carolina Zoo was held August 19, 2008 in Asheboro, NC. The center was built using full log materials supplied by Appalachain Log Structures of Ripley, WV. 30 Years...WOW how time flies

The year: 1978. We saw the first cell phone, the first arcade game in Space Invaders, and the original Star Wars: A New Hope. For a future tech geek like me this was a BIG year.
