Hello everyone, We are wondering if anyone has used Yellowstone log homes, they are from Idaho. Any input would be great. We are looking to build "our dream cabin" and reading some of the post made by you all makes me very weary. If someone had a good experience with any other log home companies please give us all the input you have!! Thanks

Brian and Michelle, My prejudiced 2 cents worth....I do not like butt joints in the middle of log walls.....they are expecially noticeable with the above company. Tim Bullock www.tamaracklogandtimberhomes.com
Sorry no feedback about Yellowstone log homes.....but I've worked on a few homes from Mountain State Log Homes Inc., out of Montrose Colorado. When I do settle down and build my log home it will be through these guys. I've worked on many different "brands" of log homes, and I love the homes that Mountain State put up. The owners are great people to work with and that's who all the dealings are with, the owners...not a salesmen. Seemed that the homeowners were very happy and never heard any negatives about MSLH.
Town and Country Cedar homes is another great company...but your dealing with Rep's of the company....so each is going to be different.
Rocky Mountain log homes turns out some good homes.
These are my personal observations and experiences, I get to apply the stain and brush every log so I see first hand up close the quality of logs. I maintain personal relationships with most of my customers, so I get to hear the negatives and the positives associated with the building process. Cheaper isn't better!
