That is perfect...and I liked Tom's suggestion. There are a lot of those type of freebie tools out there. Just be careful who you download them from.

Hey all:

Resizr is a free online image resize and crop tool. Easy to use, just choose an image from your computer (or online), upload it, then choose the size you want. After it is resized, you download it or send it to Facebook, etc.

Maybe this will provide a solution to those of us that are not graphics gurus :-)

Alan D, The original post states 450 in width or as you put it, the X access. I agree most folks probably won't know enough to resize/resample their images...but hopefully it will make some of them think about it and some will investigate further to figure it out. If it cuts down on the admin folks having to resize photos because IE distorts the larger versions then that is less work for us :) Can't teach a person to fish if we don't try!

Randy, good reminder. We've seen some HUGE images uploaded that affect the page loading so drastically... thanks for the post. ~ Tom
