As a coincidence, I stopped by an auto store yesterday looking to buy some 'Naval Jelly' (a rust remover for metal). They didn't stock it, but they had another product - and I'm sorry I don't remember the name. However I read the label and it stated that this product would also remove rust from carpeting. I would assume that if something is safe for carpeting it should be okay for wood.

Anyway, you might call or stop by your local auto parts store and see if they have such a product.

Good Afternoon Matt,

You can try some CPR Log Cleaner and Brightner or another product to try is X-180 ABR which contains oxalic acid. This must be rinsed very throughly. If you would like some more information on this please feel free to email me and I would be happy to send you some information out.
