The Log Home Neighborhood

We do build more than log homes....this tree was being chopped down for firewood by a tree removal service and I stopped and bought it but had no idea its' final use until I had pontificated for several months. It is a rot-free Honey Locust weighing aout 8000#s and attracts more attention than a billboard.

The beginning.

This is our roof framing split in half for transport. It will be decked with 1" pine/insulation and an EDPM roof. The overhangs cover the walkway completely.

This our lower post to split the staircase in half with an octagon platform matching the upper platform. The inside of the upper octagon is 10' in diameter with a 30" walkway.

Utilizing our side lumber to make some playhouses as we use every last bit of material.

Enjoy, Tim Bullock
