hello. Was wondering who else has had problems with brand new windows. They were installed within 3 weeks of delivery to the site and during storage we’re fully protected and covered . Bought a so-called package from a so-called reliable loghome building company. Complained to the company that the windows are bowing. First u get a snotty answer from customer relations that they are “not responsible for third party  items” which was already disturbing because we bought the package from them and not from the window company. Anyways when the window  inspector finally arrived he claimed windows weren’t maintained properly! To top the whole matter neither the loghome company nor the window company would install new windows under guarantee but we would have to cover these costs. We apparently did not paint the new windows and that’s why they bowed also. In the meanwhile one can see that these so-called high quality windows have screws that are rusty, the openers/ handles are breaking off and now that it’s winter, it drafts in rooms because they just don’t close properly. Neither company’s never forwarded any installation instructions nor did the loghome companies “technical advisor “ that we extra hired for the build , mention any staining or painting was necessary. Question is did anybody ever have such window problems and how did they solve this. Will they get worse?
