Hey everyone, just a quick update to let you know where we stand. Since our last post, we have 97% of the ceilings hung. Just waiting for a bathtub so we can hook the drain up and then finish the ceiling and a little more in the master bath.
As well, about 93% of the interior walls are hung. We've spiced things up and did some vertical and some horizontal. We think they look good and kind of break things up a little.
This weekend, we sanded all the exterior log walls in the great room, got the dust cleaned up and got them stained. We also got most of it covered with our symphony topcoat. Wow, does it make things look different, and really great. Sorry, no pics yet!
We also have the interior steps stained and ready to put together. Hopefully the guys show up this week (icy weather dependent) and can get them setup. Once that happens, it will look great.
Next on tap is finishing the ceilings and walls and then we'll get all the walls finished prepping and ready for stain. Goal is 2 more weekends before staining, so hopefully we can get that done. Once stained, then ready for getting the radiant heat on the first floor and flooring, kitchen and baths!
On the flooring note, our reclaimed Wyoming snow fence flooring was delivered this week and it looks great (sorry no pics still).
With all that said, we'll try to get some more pics and updates posted real soon for you all!
Thanks for checking out our update!
