Tell us about yourself:: I am a mother of three grown children and a rescue dog. My husband and I have built a log home in the Allegheny Mountains of Garrett County,Maryland in 2007. Our new log home was a long time dream and it is our joy. You can view pictures of our home at our shutterfly site.http://rusticridge2.site.shutterfly.com/ No pass word needed. All wreaths, pinecone and berry decorative pieces and wall hangings were made by me.

Are you lucky enough to be living in a log home?: We have a log vacation home.

It does takes some study committment the first year - and maybe into the second too, but someone with a medical background would find it easier. My ski abilities are somewhat lacking. I love Possum and the easy trails in Northcamp but I did do Main Street last year. It was a warm slushy spring day, and my son and husband stayed with me, but it was still scary! Anyway, I am sure we will be there one weekend together. Rick can tell you all about ski patrol - but don't let his broken leg scare you - he did that on my son's longboard (skateboard) one evening in June when he was trying it out. Oooooops!

Rick is on ski patrol at Wisp and they meet monthly to train - even in summer. I will have to get his schedule and send that on to you!

Here I am standing in front of it. We spend winters in Garrett Cty. Boys are now in college so only 2 more years till we are there full time. Had to say helo - yours was the first profile I hit so I ser up a user id just to say hello.
