- We have been married for 26 years, with 4 kids, 2 son-in-laws and 1 and 1/2 grand kids!
On Jan. 2, 2005, we lost (everything) our home/business to a fire. We had built our home and only lived in it for 4 years, so it was a great blow. Everyone was safe and that's what mattered. We had always wanted a log home, but thought we would wait until our kids were grown. With this loss facing us we dicided "Why wait", let's do it now! Our insurance company said they would back us 100% so that was the beginning of building our dream again! I call my photo album "From dirt to (almost) done because. I think we will always be adding to the dream!
