Hi Jim,
Yes, I considered Precision Craft also. In fact, Precision Craft sent me a lot of good material for me to look through. I talked with a rep with Precison Criaft several times one the phone but in the end I decided that I wanted to go with a provider that was not as far as Idaho, that was the determining factor in my decision. Precison Craft is a great company also and for a while I was considering building a timber frame house instead of a log home, especially after seeing the terrific timber frame homes that Precison Craft builds. In no means do I want to imply that Precison Craft couldn't have met my needs in building my home, it was just a matter of distance to where my home was being built. I hope this helps you, and I hope I've been of some help for you.

Sincerely,

Loren.

Hi Jim,
Nice to meet you here in the network. Yes, I recently built a log home in Gatlinburg, TN and the log home provider I chose was Maple Island Log Home Builders. I chose Maple Island because they were the provider that really listened to me and to what I wanted my home to look like. They were always there to answer my questions and they didn't think that any of my questions were stupid questions. I could reach them anytime I had a problem and they were contantly in touch with me arriving at my final blueprints. In all, they were easy to work with and I would choose them again if I was starting the process over. I hope this helps you and good luck with your business. Take care.

Loren.
