I have property off Jonathan Creek Rd. in a community called Maple Springs. You would turn off Jonathan Creek road onto Coleman Mtn. road and head up. I'm not as high up as you but my wife and I are thrilled with our spot. We won't be doing any building until the start of 2010 but better late than never.

If you go, look for a print of a man in the stream fly-fishing. That is our friend. His wife gave him that painting for his b-day one year. recently. It is in the 2007 calendar too.

The photos you posted are amazing. Have you heard of an artist named Jo Ridge Kelley? Our friends gave us a 2007 calendar of hers that I could not part with when Jan 08 rolled around! We have property in Deep Creek Lake MD. I would choose the NC mountains (we lived in Charlotte and Cola SC for years) but it just does not snow enough there for skiing. Otherwise, it would be just perfect.
