Hi Greg: Our windows are Aspen Windows. Julie and I chose Yellowstone Log Homes to modify our plans from one of their plans, "The Hillside". We chose a top quality window for our log home. If you would like, feel free to email me and I will send you a PDF file of our bid on the windows. I used a plunge router to make the slots for my electrical wiring behind door frames, and a couple of window frames. One thing I would do different though is to have all the stickers removed from the windows and the sticker residue cleaned off prior to having the windows installed, especially the high windows. Dave

Yes, I only use radiant heat. I did put a few of those 220V Cadet heaters in the loft bedrooms, because the loft floor is not heated, but they were not used last late, but we did not have more than 10 below, and the home was not done yet, so I am thinking they will not be needed, but good backup there anyway. I like them, but I really like radiant.

10" Swedish coped, hand peeled in the walls. Large Character posts, the standard package sizes. The home was widened 4', and lengthened 8', so netting over 5K square feet from 3.5K feet of the standard Cascade.
