The Log Home Neighborhood

An online log home community for log home enthusiasts.

This Texas log home had taken a beating from the sun and mold growth.

There were many places were the mold had really set in.

The soffit areas of the log home were also covered in mildew.

Our first plan of attack was to sand the log home all the way down to bare wood on all log walls.

We Sanded the entire home including the decks down to bare dry wood for the best adhesion.

We practice the prep we preach.

When we stain we will use the sprayer as an applicator. Every square inch has to be back brushed for maximum adhesion and performance.

We where very proud of the finished product. We are also excited about having this home on our maintenance program.

We always paint any fixtures to repair former sloppy stain maintenance practices.

Me and the guys. Couldn't have done it without them. Thanks for all the team work.
